Our residential care packages offer 24 hour, seven day a week support for those who require assistance with everyday living. We provide an environment that enables the social aspects of life to be continued and encourage our residents to join in with new experience or relive the old ones that can be missed out on. We provide a person centered approach to our residents care needs, ensuring involvement from friends and family are included within each care plan. Riverside house is able to offer this service which includes: a well balanced menu plan, laundry and house keeping service along with wifi, and an extensive activities program along with tailored made care and support. Our home provides a homely atmosphere ensuring the needs of our residents can be met. Our staff receive training that allows them to meet the individual needs of each resident.

Dementia residential care

Our residential dementia care package offers a 24 hour, seven days a week support to those people who are living with dementia and need assistance with every day living and find it difficult to manage in their own homes without additional help and support. 

Riverside house is able to offer this service which includes: a well-balanced menu plan, laundry and housekeeping service along with wifi, and an extensive activities program along with tailored made care and support.

Those with dementia need an environment which allows them  to have comfort and familiarity. Our approach to dementia care ensures that we treat our service users with respect, dignity and encourage independence along with socialization. Our staff receive specialist dementia training which helps to provide an understanding of the needs and aspirations of the individual living with dementia.

Short term and respite care

Respite care is for people who may require a short or temporary stay or who may require short term care to recover from an illness or operation. People can come for Respite care  for anything from a few days to several weeks or months, this really depends on their care needs.  Riverside House offers residential and dementia respite care packages.  We would seek to put a respite care package in consultation with the resident, family and healthcare professionals.
